Toronto Photographer, Fashion, Editorial & Brand Imagery
Editorial-grade photography for brands, publications and personal projects, shot in Toronto and delivered with intention.
I'm Dunsin Bashir, a Toronto-based photographer working across fashion, editorial, portrait and documentary. I shoot on film and digital, in studio and on location, and every commission is treated as a considered visual story rather than a set of images.
Clients hire me when they want photography that reads at magazine level, deliberate composition, direction that gets the most out of talent, and a final image that earns its place in the campaign.
How a photography engagement runs
Concept & shoot direction
We start with the brief. I return with a treatment, references, mood, palette, wardrobe direction, casting notes and a shot list built around what the images need to do commercially.
Pre-production & production planning
Locations scouted across Toronto, permits handled where needed, talent booked, crew sized to the shoot. Nothing is left to figure out on the day.
Photography & talent direction
On the day I'm shooting and directing simultaneously, light, composition, body language, and the small adjustments that separate a strong frame from a great one.
Image curation, retouch & final assets
Selects reviewed together, retouching and colour grading in-house, delivered as final assets in the formats your team actually uses, with full licensing.
Recent photography work
A selection of recent editorial and campaign work. Fuller case studies on each are on the main portfolio.
